Nidra

Nidra, a 1981 classic, directed by legendary filmmaker Bharathan, is being remade by his son Siddharth. It is based on the life of a slightly eccentric man. He belongs to a wealthy family and gets married to his childhood sweetheart. She is in for a shock after the marriage when she finds herself in a soup, married to this mentally disturbed man, who is treated in a hostile way by his relatives. How she manages things from then on is what the story is all about.
