She has been in the news for certain personal issues and now, actor Urvashi is back with some high profile films in her kitty. She has just completed director Jithu Joseph’s Mummy & Me and will play an important role in MA Nishad’s Best of Luck. Urvashi will also be seen in Sakudumbam Shyamala, a laugh-riot written by Krishna Poojappura. The film is being directed by Radhakrishnan Mangalath, the director of popular TV serials like Indumukhi Chandramathi and Sathi Leelavathi.
Krishna Poojappura shot into fame as the writer of two super-hit films, Ivar Vivahitharayal and Happy Husbands. Sakudumbam Shyamala is being produced by S Gopakumar, of Kunjuveettil Creations, the producer of Ivar Vivahitharayal.
Sakudumbam Shyamala will have Urvashi as an influential minister, who is having a tug of war with her daughter in law. Kunchacko Boban plays her son and Bhama plays her daughter in law.
The film is being distributed by Central Pictures.
