Director Saji Surendran is on cloud nine and he has every reason to feel so. He will join hands with UTV Motion Pictures, for a new project titled Husbands in Goa. The film is a laugh riot to be scripted by Krishna Poojappura and the cinematographer is Anil Nair. The trio is now at Pollachi to start shooting for their latest venture, Kunjaliyan.
Husbands in Goa will have Jayasurya, Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Indrajith in the lead roles. Bhama, Bhavana, Rima Kallingal and Samvritha Sunil will play the heroines. The shooting of the film will start in February, next year.
The storyline goes like this: Fed up with their wives, three husbands played by Jayasurya, Asif Ali and Indrajith decide to have a fun trip to Goa. In the train, they meet a new friend, played by Biju Menon and also, some girls. A cat and mouse game ensues soon after when their wives reach Goa, chasing their husbands!
Meanwhile, UTV is reportedly planning to do a project with Mohanlal, to be directed by B Unnikrishnan.
