Bollywood actor, director and well-known theatre personality, Makrand Deshpande plays the baddie in director M A Nishad’s No.66 Madurai Bus. The shooting of the film was recently concluded at Thenmala. The film also stars Pasupathi, Padmapriya and Swetha Menon among others.
According to Makrand, he thoroughly enjoyed shooting in Kerala. He feels that regional films have a great role to play in the current scheme of things. Makrand is well known for his roles in several TV serials like Circus (with Shah Rukh Khan) in the past, Satya, Swades and Sarfarosh.
“If I am offered more good roles in Malayalam, I am only happy to accept them,” says the actor.
