The bans imposed by the various film organisations have become some kind of a joke for all, these days. They all use it as a weapon to control anyone who questions them. The latest in the list is Nithya Menen.
The heroine had refused to meet three producers at the set of Tatsamayam oru penkutty. Though she later clarified that it was due to her busy shooting schedule, recently the film distributors’ organization imposed a ban on Nithya’s forthcoming films, Bachelor Party and Ustad Hotel.
After almost everyone came out against this statement, the distributors’ association withdrew their statement all on a sudden. The rumours have it that producer Suresh Kumar, who was miffed with Nithya’s refusal to play the lead in his film Chattakkaari is behind the move to ban the actor.
