The pooja of Utharaswayamvaram, directed by debutant Ramakanth Sarju, was held at Kochi on July 2. The film has Jayasurya and Roma as the lead pair. The shooting of the movie will start later this month.

Utharaswayamvaram is happening in a Palakkadan village and has J Pallassery’s script. Produced by Pavithram Creations, the cast also include Balachandra Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Lalu Alex, Suraj Venjarammood, Sukumari and so on. The cinematographer is Saloo George and the music director is M Jayachandran.
