Young actor Vinu Mohan has replaced Mukesh in Mammootty’s Chattambi Nadu. The shooting of the film, directed by Shafi, has started at Palani. Lakshmi Rai plays Mammootty’s heroine in it while Mythili, the leading lady of Ranjith’s Paleri Manikyam is Vinu’s pair. Mukesh was earlier reported to have an important role in the film.
Vinu Mohan has a small role in the recently released Dalamarmarangal and he plays the hero in actor-director Shankar’s forthcoming film, Keralotsavam 2009.
