Well, it will take a week more for Neelathamara to bloom again. It is the remake of an oldie of the same name, scripted by legendary writer M T Vasudevan Nair and directed by Lal Jose with fresh faces in the lead. The earlier version was directed by Yusuf Ali Kechery. The release date, originally announced as Nov 20 has now been shifted to Nov 27.
Archana Kavi, an anchor and a management student based in Delhi plays the lead in the film. In the original version, Ambika had played the role. Kailash, Suresh, Reema Kallingal and Samvrutha Sunil also include the main cast. The film’s music, composed by Vidyasagar, has already been well received.
