Mammootty is all set to begin this year’s X’mas celebrations at the tinsel town, with his Chattambinadu. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam and directed by Shafi, the film is expected to get a good initial, with its high profile team. Mammootty’s character is called Vijendra Mallaya, who speaks Malayalam, with a heavy Kannada accent. Vinu Mohan plays his brother in the film.
Meanwhile Keralotsavam 2009, which was postponed at the last minute, will hit the theatres along with Chattambinaadu. The film has been directed by yesteryear superstar Shankar and has Vinu Mohan and Vishnupriya in the lead.
